What you will need

- Submit an essay of no more than 2,000 words

For parents
Registration opens 19 September 2026. The standard entry fee is £12 per essay. Late entries are accepted until 15 July 2027 for a £20 fee. Shortlisted students will later need an academic referee who is not a relative.
